For woman ONLY please!! What could cause this? I am not looking for a doctor answer, just advice!?

I know someone is going to say go to your doctor, I have! But it doesnt seem like its a major concern to her!

I have been trying to concieve since March of 06', nothing yet!! I have 2 children already 2 and 6. Never really had a problem conceiving them. My AF was irregular for awhile, then all the sudden finally the last 3months, has been every 28days. But sometimes I will bleed heavily for longer then 7 days. The last 2 months my AF has been completely normal. I have not been stressing about the possibiltiy of being pregnant, like I said we have been trying, but this month my AF is 3 days late. Could it be that I am just off cycle again? I took a PG test the day before my AF was due. NEGATIVE!! I have no side yet, if I would be! Has anyone ever experienced irregular, then regular and then irregular AF's? If so what did you do to get it on track again, or is it something I really shouldnt worry about? My doctor doesnt seem to really have a concern about it! What do u think? For woman ONLY please!! What could cause this? I am not looking for a doctor answer, just advice!?
You're not going to like my answer either I guess. Which is, don't worry about it. If you were always irregular before, I would be more concerned if you suddenly turned up regular for a long amount of time, than if you continued in the irregularity.

If you are pregnant, you will eventually know it for sure. If you aren't, then don't stress about it either, because a LOT of women's bodies change between each pregnancy, making each one conceive and carry differently.

The only time I would be concerned is if you start to have gut wrenching pain (and I mean feeling like someone is trying to tear your guts out of your body, without benefit of anaesthetic) associated with your menstrual flow. This could be a sign of the body's inability to ';clean'; the inside of the uterus properly, and you may need a D %26amp; C (sort of like spring cleaning). For woman ONLY please!! I wouldn't worry about it too much... Lots of things can make you irregular. stress, trips, lots of things. Don't worry about it. And you are probably just having a late AF. Wait a few days-a week and test again. if after two weeks or so if you are still getting BFNs and no AF then go see your doctor again. Make sure that she knows that you are worried. Insist on tests.
How old are you menopause time??? i was in may late 30's and started having periods that were off and on etc. thank goodness i got fixed after my last kid so did not have to worry about being pregnant. Maybe you should change doctors, cause if a doctor is good they are concern when there patients are. try to keep good track of days of periods and have sex on ovulation days 10th through 14th . and go from there.
I've never had this happen, but it does seem odd. I'm assuming that the man you're trying to concieve with is the father of your other two, so it's not likely a fertility problem.

I know it's not what you want to hear, but if your current Dr isn't taking this seriously, I'd see a different one.
Could be cysts. And probably you should try a different Dr. if this one is not taking your concerns seriously.
Age could be a factor. How old are you? 27 is the age where women start to have fertility problems. If this is the case then it may take a little longer for you to get pregnant than with the first two kids. Just keep trying!
Please! Age at 27 with a problem is a joke! I had my first at 30, second at 31 and 3rd at 34! I am 37 and probably pregnant with the 4th!!!!!!!!!!!! I have friends over 40 and had healthy pregnancies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not even considered a high risk to my dr. Take another test in 3 days. If still negative, then keep trying!!!! They say after 12 months, then see a fert. specialist!!!!!!!! Do not give up!!!!!!!!Use a first response!!! It picks up early detection, and do not listen to the over 27 thing!!!! My dr. would laugh at that comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You need to see a doctor who will take your concerns seriously. Irregular periods can mean a lot of things and you don't want to let this go on too long.

When I was about your age, I had a horrible ordeal with fibroid tumors. They aren't cancerous, but they will throw your periods out of whack, and they will make you bleed heavily. Also, if you have fibroids, that's a sign of a hormonal imbalance that might keep you from being pregnant.

These days, they just remove the tumors. However, when I had them, about 15 years ago, I had to have a hysterectomy. I'm sure this isn't a route you want to take.

Trust me, you're not going to get good answers, or a cure, on here. You need to see your doctor, or find one you like. That will be the only way you'll be regular again.
I can't help with the conception part, but I can tell you that it's normal to have abnormal periods. I've never heard the term ';AF'; before.

After having children, your periods will vary. This is due to hormonal changes. They will also change every several years as you age.

If you're used to being pretty regular, I can see why this would be upsetting, especially when you're trying to conceive.

You might want to get a second opinion from another doctor though, just to be sure. Could be something wrong. This is not an area to mess around with.

Also, check out WebMD. They have very reliable and easy to understand information.

Finally, a friend of mine HIGHLY recommends Royal Maca. It's a nutritional supplement that's supposed to be great for regulating your hormones. Some take it to improve the odds of getting pregnant, too.
well if u r not trying to get preg some of the birth controlwill help reg the prob and if u r trying maybe some pre nat vitamins will help stay on track with this prob also lots of fruit and water will help u stay norm good luck dr.gary esper
I think I'm not going to give you the answer you want, however it sounds to me like your physician is right. I was irregular for most of my life. I had two babies. Every woman is different. If you do not conceive during the remainder of this year, perhaps you should worry and I'll bet that your OB will be more receptive to you being worried about conception. Please try to relax and let nature take its course.
