well dont go up to someone you dont know and just start goin off about something. first off, it would be smart to know the person a little bit. i had kind of the same problem, like i was the shiest person i could think of. just pretend that you were talkin to one of your best friends, that would calm you down. just dont talk like you would to your friends, because that might make her think you just want to be friends. there isnt much to say about this except just get out there and talk to them. even if it is in public, its not like anyone is goin to eavesdrop on you
Start talking to women you don't feel threatened by (check out clerks, people in your office, etc.). Flirt a little with people in general, get comfortable talking to strangers. When you do find a woman you are attracted to, TALK to her! A lot of guys just keep going (it's a little known secret that most of the guys women are currently dating are dating them because they took the chance and talked to them!). Part of the fun of life is the risk. You will sometimes succeed and othertimes fail. If you never try, you will always fail.
