Some men have trouble finding love/sex in their lives, and they are told such stupid things as ';wait for the right person to arrive';, ';the right person will arrive some day';, etc. No, it won't. When it comes to men, they can't ';wait';, they have to LOOK for the right person, because things don't work the same for men as they do for women. Not only that, but I see virgin males on here who want help losing their virginity, and women ATTACK them just for wanting to fulfill a natural human desire. They say things such as ';if all you want is sex, you don't deserve a woman'; and other ridiculous comments, when these very same women probably all lost their virginities at a young age just for being women and having it easy. I'm by no means complaining that women have it easier than men; what I am complaining about is men trying to get help and women attack them like they're evil just for wanting sex, as well as giving them bad ';don't worry, eventually someone will arrive'; advice. Why do people, especially women, keep giving bad advice to men looking for love/sex help?
Many women are delusional and try to rationalize certain situations. They lack a basic understanding of reality. It's easy for a woman, because a woman knows that men are just going to approach her and if she doesn't feel that instant rush, spark, gratifying feeling she might reject, or blow the guy off. They want that instant connection with out putting any work in on creating that connection. Many woman don't understand that if you give someone a chance and get to know that person you might actually find yourself caring deeply for that other person. Women don't understand, or appreciate the effort that guys put in when trying to win someone over. Have you ever heard of a woman complain that if the guy doesn't approach her then he is intimidated and a coward. Many women are hypocrites, because they have no idea what it is actually like to approach and ask someone out. Women are a lot more judgmental then guys are. Woman will jump to conclusions about a guy in the first second of meeting that all he wants is sex, or is a jerk, creep, whatever else when he actually wants to get to know her for her and could possible be the best thing that ever happened to her. Woman tend to stereotype guys. There are a lot of guys that are truly uncaring and cruel and just want sex, but woman tend to lump all guys the same. They fall for the same guy over and over and complain that all guys are the same. The glass ceiling effect is not only in the business world, but also for women in the dating world. I don't want to sound as if I am ranting, because everything I wrote is purely from an observational point on watching people in action. To sum everything up women give bad advice, because they just don't realize, nor know any better. Why do people, especially women, keep giving bad advice to men looking for love/sex help?
good point but my answer to your questions is because they are stupid and honestly dont know but want to share there stupidity with someone who doesnt know any better
Woman can get sex from most guys, if they just asked. They usually won't of course. This is where the ';wait and you'll get them'; approach comes in.
The guy just need to get confidence in himself first, then he looks better to a woman. Woman, by nature IMHO arent as confident in themselves as men, b/c all kinds of stereotypes, and ';that girl';'s turn up.
I found confidence through playing pool, and if I date a woman and take her out, she sees confidence, and that in trigues her to find more... although at the same time she may be replused too.
It;s really a crapshoot since you'll remember the missteps more than the sucesses.
Well certain men are pigs about it. I mean, if a guy wants sex, just for sex, then whatever, that's his choice. I don't think it's wrong, unless he's using a girl that thinks he's in love with her. some guys are just stupid. The women that attack guys for stuff like that are just stuck up, and holding grudges on the people that have hurt them in life. That's why I hate when opinionated people give advice. Someone will ask a question about sex with their gf/bf, and there are always at least 5 answers saying ';don't have sex before marriage!'; Seriously, shut up, and respect peoples choices. If they choose to live their lives a certain way, don't try to change that, especially if they're not asking, and especially if you don;t KNOW them.
As for the ';don't worry it will come with time'; I agree with it. Things like love take time, and patience. At least, true love does. You can't sit back and literally just wait for someone to arrive, you have to put yourself out there and work for it. Women have it just as tough though bud. I mean, sure some women yell at men for being pigs about sex, but then there are those guys who are worshiped for having so much sex. God forbid a girl have sex with a man she's not in love with. No, of course that's not accepted, because you know, then it would be logical. People are just way too judge mental.
Haha wow, sorry for the rant.
Firstly women are NOT logical -- it amazes me how these women pass exams as they say such illogical things as you mentioned.
Secondly women by nature are monogomous(sp?) and men polygmous( nature made us to impregnate as many females as we can ---eg millions of sperms Vs women one egg a month)
So what modern women do is try to enforce their instincts of monogomous on us --- if we even think of girls and sex . women act like we have committed the worst sin in the world.
Unfortunately in Western societies especially in America there is a vicious witch hunt againt men ...( these women want to convert us to some feminine toy)
Oh well you get the message.
You can do two things:
Date foreign women ( from Eastern Europe , south America, Asia etc) where things are more realistic .
And secondly avoid American women ....:)
Well then, what you need to do is get in your car, make sure to have money on you, drive downtown to the nearest dive you can find. It's usually something on a corner with a concave red door or something, and hot pink neon verticle lettering overhead that says ';Spanky's'; or ';Endless Possibilities'; Go inside...sit confidently at the bar until you make eye contact with a willing onlooker. Buy her a few drinks, take her home or to a motel and WaLaaa you've got a piece of a**!
And please, please DO wear a condom.
as true as that is, wheres the question?
Hi. Wanna screw? Just teasin, I swear. Just tryin to keep it light. I'm not sure if you want an answer or just felt like ranting, but I will tell you what I think. I guess us girls keep telling yall that because that's how we feel about it? Women are naturally empathetic (it's the middle part of the brain) and a lot of us have only found what we wanted most when we stopped looking. So I guess maybe we weren't listening close enough and had no idea it was different for you, or you weren't listening close enough, I don't know which. Take care.
*I really was just kidding with the joke, please don't get offended.
That's natural for women! Women are more on the emotional aspect and men are more on the physical aspect.
good point.

I am a shy guy that is very afraid to talk to women in public, what advice do you have for me to help me come?
out a little more?I am a shy guy that is very afraid to talk to women in public, what advice do you have for me to help me come?
u should just breath and try ur best to talk to a woman...if you get nervous just think of something nice to tell her ..like you have lovely eyes or something along that lineI am a shy guy that is very afraid to talk to women in public, what advice do you have for me to help me come?
well dont go up to someone you dont know and just start goin off about something. first off, it would be smart to know the person a little bit. i had kind of the same problem, like i was the shiest person i could think of. just pretend that you were talkin to one of your best friends, that would calm you down. just dont talk like you would to your friends, because that might make her think you just want to be friends. there isnt much to say about this except just get out there and talk to them. even if it is in public, its not like anyone is goin to eavesdrop on you
Start talking to women you don't feel threatened by (check out clerks, people in your office, etc.). Flirt a little with people in general, get comfortable talking to strangers. When you do find a woman you are attracted to, TALK to her! A lot of guys just keep going (it's a little known secret that most of the guys women are currently dating are dating them because they took the chance and talked to them!). Part of the fun of life is the risk. You will sometimes succeed and othertimes fail. If you never try, you will always fail.makeup school

Advice for a treament resistant bipolar woman.?
My sister has delt with very severe depression for around 7 years now. She's been seen by countless doctors and has been diagnosed with many disorders and also recieved ECT treament twice. It's obvious the girl is sick but why won't anything work? Have you heard of a case similar to this before? And if so whats the next step. It almost seems like her bipolar is a safe place for her because thats where she has always been. She doesn't live with the disorder she IS the disorder... if that makes senseAdvice for a treament resistant bipolar woman.?
advice ? RUN !Advice for a treament resistant bipolar woman.?
You could use an attitude adjustment and an education. NO ONE is the illness and no one wants to live in depression. Shiiiiitttt, your sister has willingly been a med guinea pig and gone through having her head zapped. Wake up. Does that sound like anyone wanting such an existence. It is not like she is the disorder. It's like she's been dealt hell to live through.
I have no suggestions other than working with psychiatrists and new meds long enough to figure out if they work. If not, then move on. Oh, I do have another, treat your sister with a lot more respect than what you've implied that you do here.
I have heard of case of schizophrenia that was untreatable. The woman is instituationalized because her delusions are so bad. She had ECT about half a dozen times, too.
I'm sorry that you have to go through this and that your sister is in so much pain. Have patience and maybe a new drug will come that can give her the much needed help.
i know a man that is bipolar, refuses medication. sometimes it's like walking on ice. he can be fine, then wham, here we go again. bipolar is usually a binge thing, like shopping, working, spending money, crying - whatever it is they do it for like three days. the only way that i deal with it, is when it occurs, i let him rant and rave, without fighting back or mentioning that its his mental thing going on. usually, as with all things, no reaction causes the action to cease. i personally think this man i know should take a chill pill of some kind, but he refuses. just be patient. that is the most important thing. try not to focus on the disorder - her or you need to not mention it, hardly at all. the less it is thought about, the more it tends to fade away. remember, each case is different.
You need to find her a VERY good psychiatrist, one who is very good at drug interactions and chemical imbalance. Too many doctors don't pay attention to drug interactions that can have a negative effect that can make someone worse. Do some research %26amp; find a good doctor by reputation. Even if she has to wait 2 months to get an appointment a very good psychiatrist can get someone straightened out in 1 or 2 visits.
sadly there are a few who treatments don't work. my sister is the same shes been through ECT and every drug. the thing i have found is that the older they get it seems to lessen just a bit the symptoms. at least i don't have to pick her up in strange hotels and jail anymore.
I personally think that you should be gutted like a fish and set on fire.
As far as your sister I don't know what to say about that except that you should stay out of her life forever.
so leave her alone. some of us are comfortable outside the norm. live in our world or stay out
I personally have tried everything except ECT and have not been able to find anything that works for me. I did finally find some antidepressants that work for me, but they cause such severe sexual problems that i am not willing to take them (and NOBODY should be expected to. What a cruel cosmic joke, there). The depression, no matter how much I long for suicide to release me, is preferable to that constant frustration. I'm planning on getting ECT next month, and the doc is saying don't get my hopes up too much. I went inpatient for 2 weeks at a university hospital, and they gave me the last round of antidepressants that the guy swore up and down wouldn't cause sexual problems. Hmphff. I guess I just can't win?
Another thing she can try is vagus nerve stimulation. You will have to google that. Also, maybe she is taking a drug that is making her worse. I took ativan (valium, xanax are related) and that made the bipolar much much worse. About 5% of people get a really bad reaction to those drugs. Ambien made me go cuckoo and I ended up in a state hospital (very abusive place) for a few days until that drug got out of my system. so maybe there is something that is a problem drug. Also, if a person is very sick, they may not remember to take their pills every day. The pills can't work if you forget to take them.
Bipolar depression is hell on earth. Try to be more understanding. She is not getting anything positive out of this experience. The reason people with bipolar suicide (about 15%) is because the pain is so extremely intense and intolerable.
I hope something here was helpful. I have tried like 25 different meds, so I have really been thru this.
You know what I am Bipolar, and everyday its a struggle. But everyday you have to put in effort. I WANT to be HAPPY!
Oh and another thing my Dad doesnt put up with my bipolar, he has his limits. Also when I go to my doctors I dont get the poor you, they are hard and me and bascially I have to get my *** in gear. Everyday I say thank you God for the family, the food I eat, the roof over my head, everyday i run for an hour and a half, instead of lashing out at your love ones I can exert that energy through exercise, and also deep breathing.
I also go to see my therapist, and tell me all the time to push push dont give up, fight the depression.
Your sister sounds like she is a comfort zone, and could also be an attention seeker.
There are 1000 of people with bipolar disorder living normal lives, show her who they are and tell her to pull her weight.
And another thing, try to keep it more natural, too much meds is not so good, poor girl.

I usually go to Torrid to get great sexy stuff that I can actually wear out to night clubs. They have a few things that could be worn in an office, but not a whole lot. Torrid is a sister company of Hot Topic. They have stuff that is very much in style right now and it's designed specifically for size. They also have an online store.
For work, I usually go to Cato or Lane Bryant.

What military branch would be best for me? Any women who I can ask advice?
I am a 20 year old female, and I live in Illinois. I am interested in joining the armed forces to serve my country. I would like to be in the reserves, as I am in college and would like to finish that up. I would also like to be able to stay home for the most part. Also, which branch of the military has the shortest deployments, where I could stay home and train locally? I know that I should not be concerned with deployments if I want to serve my country, but I do not want to hurt my family by being overseas away from home for a year+. I would really like to do the national guard and help Americans within the country, but I know most National guard members are being deployed overseas.
Also, I was wondering if I could possibly e-mail any of you who are women and have served or are serving in the armed forces just so I can learn a little more and get first-hand information.
God bless our troops. What military branch would be best for me? Any women who I can ask advice?
Not going to answer from a woman's point of view - but look at the following google search -
http://www.google.com/search?q=Reserve+U鈥?/a>
Your first mission is to find the reserve centers around you that you would be willing to drive to once a month for training.
That will shape what service.
Next, most of the time each one of these locations will have a specialty or job trait that they will be good at. Do you want this military job to be similar to what your doing in college?
This will also shape what service/location.
Traditionally, the AF has the shortest deployments. However, even they are starting to move from 4 mon, to 6 mon, to 12 mon. It all really depends on the level of the unit that you deploy with.
Talk with the National Guard unit that is close to you about their deployment schedule. They can give you a good picture of if/when they might be deploying next.
Why would you hurt your family by being deployed? Most of the time this brings you all closer, AND they get to see an insight on the war from your perspective.
If you need any perspective from me, let me know... I am pretty open minded and fair on the question you might be asking. What military branch would be best for me? Any women who I can ask advice?
If you want to stay home and train locally you should check into the reserves or national guard.
National guard also helps out with state emergencies (i.e. flooding)
AF has the shortest deployments at the moment.
Just remember regardless you are a soldier first so if you join and you get deployed your college will have to go on hold. Guard and reserves also have to do 2 weeks a year of AT training, and of course you have to do basic and AIT.
We are basically in the same situation. I live in Missouri (from Iowa but in college here) and I wanted to be in the Air National Guard, now I'm thinking about Army National Guard and even Navy Reserves. Take some time to talk to all of them and see what they have to offer you and what you would like to do in all of them. Don't rush to make your decision. This is all what I'm trying to do as well as ask around and talk to my step dad who is a military man and was in army and air.
It sounds like the U.S. Air Force would be a good choice for you. On the plus side their deployments are shorter and the quality of life is great. On the negative side, promotions are very slow and it can be a bit difficult to join (they have the highest academic standards of all the branches).
Also, I was wondering if I could possibly e-mail any of you who are women and have served or are serving in the armed forces just so I can learn a little more and get first-hand information.

A Healthy Beginning for Pregnancy
By Jeanie Lerche Davis
WebMD Feature
It's been your dream, giving birth to a healthy, happy baby. PregnancyPregnancy is as natural as the birds and bees, but in today's world it takes planning to make sure things go well.
If you've been taking your health for granted -- getting by on little sleep, hitting the martini bars, forgetting dental exams -- it's time to assess your lifestyle and make some changes.
To give your baby the healthiest beginning, take steps in the months before you conceive, says Connie Graves, MD, director of maternal-fetal medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn. ';You want to start with a very healthy body, and you want to minimize risk factors that can hurt the baby or hurt you.';
By making healthy lifestyle changes, you may even boost your odds of getting pregnant. ';One of my patients just had her third child at age 42,'; Graves tells WebMD. ';She's a perfect example that maintaining a healthy lifestyle will help preserve fertilityfertility and assist conception.';
Pregnancy: The Critical First Weeks of Life
By the time you learn you are pregnant, your baby is probably 2- to 4-weeks old -- a tiny placenta and embryo attached to your uterine wall. During these critical weeks, your baby's development can be greatly affected by health and lifestyle issues like:
Folic Acid: It's long been known that folic acid prevents the serious birth defect called spina bifida (a baby born with a spine that is not closed). Fortunately today many food items, such as bread, bagels, and breakfast cereal, are fortified with folic acid to help women of childbearing age reduce risk of this birth defect.
Alcohol and smoking: Alcohol has been linked to premature delivery, mental retardation, birth defects, and low-birth-weight babies. Smoking can decrease the likelihood of conception -- and increase the risk of preterm labor and low birth weight.
Over-the-counter and prescription drugs could also affect your baby's health. For example, during the last few months of pregnancy NSAIDs -- such as aspirin, aspirin compounds (Anacin, Bayer, Bufferin), and ibuprofen (Motrin, Rufen) -- can cause a decrease in the amount of amniotic fluid ( the fluid cushioning the baby) and cause closure of the ductus arteriosa, an important blood vessel in the baby.
Illegal drugs have their own risks. Cocaine use, for example, can be detrimental and life-threatening to both mother and baby.
Gum disease can increase the risk of preterm delivery up to eightfold, research shows. Babies born to mothers with periodontal infections are twice as likely to be admitted to a neonatal intensive care unit, and three times more likely to need hospitalization beyond seven days, the CDC reports.
Obesity, Diabetes, and Your Baby
Obesity is an especially critical issue for women of childbearing age, says Michael Greene, MD, director of obstetrics at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
';Obesity is associated with many complications, because it greatly increases a woman's risk of developing high blood sugar and diabetes -- either before they get pregnant or during their pregnancy,'; he tells WebMD.
When a fetus is exposed to the mother's high blood sugar early on -- before 13 weeks old -- there is a serious risk of birth defects.
';A mother's obesity and uncontrolled blood sugar puts her baby at high risk for a variety of congenital malformations, including defects of the brain and spinal cord,'; Greene explains.
And babies of mothers who have diabetes are likely to grow large in size, fed by excess sugar that makes its way into the placenta. ';These large babies can be difficult to deliver vaginally, and may require cesarean section,'; Greene says.
Obesity, high blood pressurehigh blood pressure -- as well as asthmaasthma -- also put a mother at high risk for developing preeclampsiapreeclampsia, Greene tells WebMD. This condition prevents the placenta from receiving enough blood, which can cause the baby to be small. These babies are often born prematurely, which carries its own complications, like learning disabilities. The babies are also at risk for birth defects and death, he adds
A Healthy Pregnancy: The Right Steps
At least three months before trying to get pregnant, women should see either a doctor or midwife, Graves advises. It's called preconception counseling, and it helps women know the steps they must take to ensure a healthy pregnancy. ';A doctor can help make sure everything is in order,'; she tells WebMD.
To help get everything in order, you'll want to start with:
Your health: If you have chronic medical problems like obesityobesity, diabetesdiabetes, high blood pressurehigh blood pressure, or asthmaasthma, you must get them under control before you become pregnant. If you need to lose weight, this is the best time to do it -- not after you become pregnant.
DepressionDepression is another problem that can affect your pregnancy. If you are depressed when you become pregnant, you are more likely to use tobacco, alcohol, and illegal drugs which can harm your baby. You may also have difficulty bonding with your baby and experience postpartum depression, which is higher in women with a history of depressive illness.
To get help, talk to your friends, your partner, your family -- and if that isn't enough, consider therapy and possibly antidepressants. While recent research shows antidepressants may pose small risks to the fetus, many doctors believe a depressed mother isn't healthy for a fetus or a baby -- and encourage women to take antidepressants during pregnancy if they need them. Your doctor can help you decide what's best for you.
It's also important to share with your doctor your family history, including incidence of twins, mental retardation, blindness, deafness, cystic fibrosiscystic fibrosis, congenital birth defects, Tay-Sachs disease, sickle trait/sickle cell, and thalassemia.
Prenatal vitamins: Take a daily multivitamin that contains 400 milligrams of folic acid; you can buy these over the counter. Eat breakfast cereals fortified with folic acid -- as well as green leafy vegetables, nuts, beans, and citrus fruits, which naturally contain folic acid.
Diet: If fast food, sodas, and sweets are your mainstays, change your ways, Graves advises. Eating a healthier, well-balanced diet will boost your overall health and -- once you conceive -- provide your baby with the vitamins and minerals necessary for development.
Get at least four servings of dairy products and calcium-rich foods daily; get at least one serving of foods rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, and folic acid daily. Avoid excessive vitamin A, which may be associated with birth defects.
Do not eat:
Shark, swordfish, king mackerel, or tilefish (also called white snapper), because they contain high levels of mercury. Avoid raw fish and shellfish like oysters and clams.
Soft cheeses like feta, Brie, Camembert, blue-veined, and Mexican-style cheese which are often unpasteurized and may cause Listeria infection. The ';safe'; cheeses are hard cheese, processed cheese, cream cheese, cottage cheese, or yogurt.
Saccharin, because it crosses the placenta and is stored in fetal tissues. However, other FDA-approved sweeteners (Equal, NutraSweet, Splenda) are acceptable during pregnancypregnancy.
Limit caffeine to no more than 300 milligrams daily about two 8-ounce cups of coffee a day. Be careful that you're not getting additional caffeine in soft drinks, tea, or chocolate. Caffeine may affect blood flow to the uterus, which could affect the developing fetus.
Alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs: If your lifestyle includes these, quit, as they pose serious risks to a fetus. Get advice from your doctor if you have trouble quitting.
Dental issues: Get your teeth cleaned regularly to control gum disease. If you need other dental work, Graves advises getting it done before getting pregnant. Your gums are likely to bleed more during pregnancy since your body is generating more blood flow, she says.
Medications: If you're taking a medication for a chronic condition, talk to your doctor. Some medications are considered safe during pregnancy. Others are known to potentially raise the risk of birth defects -- like the blood pressure drugs known as ACE inhibitors. With some medications, like those sold over the counter, the effects on an unborn child are often unknown. Your doctor can help you weigh the risks and benefits. Vaccinations: Your immunizations may need to be updated, so check with your doctor about this. Timing of these shots is critical if you're planning on getting pregnant since some vaccines can be harmful to the baby. With measlesmeasles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and chickenpoxchickenpox vaccines, you must have the shot -- and use birth controlbirth control -- for one to three months prior to conception, says Graves.
Other vaccines like tetanustetanus or hepatitishepatitis B shots can be given during pregnancy. In fact, women who will be in their second or third trimesters during the flu season should get flu shots. Your doctor can help you figure out what vaccines you need and when it's safe to get them.
Stress reduction: It is not fully understood, but the cortisol hormone that the body releases during times of stress seems to make conception more difficult, says Graves. ';Stress is difficult to avoid, but exercise, getting plenty of sleep, and developing a good support system can help reduce stress.';
If you've stayed true to a healthy lifestyle over the years, it can translate into a healthy pregnancy -- especially helpful if you're past the ';prime'; fertilityfertility years, says Graves.
